Coach Schooler and Coach Maihles

Schooler: Have you seen improvement with the boys during the summer? Yes, we had a great offseason, attendance was great during the summer so it will show improvement on both sides of the ball.

How do you feel about the upcoming season? We're excited to show the work put in and Fridays nights are a chance to get out there and display all hard work they put in all throughout the summer.

What game are you looking forward to the most? All of them, you're only guaranteed ten games so we have to earn playoff games. It's important to take them week by week

Coach Maihles: We had major Improvement during summer, great attendance from the kids this summer leadin us to a good season.

I feel confident for the upcoming season.  Kids have been working hard all summer to build to week one. We have seen improvement each day and the buy in from the kids have been awesome with the new scheme.

Looking forward to the Plaquemine, good district matchup, first true road test, hostile environment (rivalry), and good quality oppennet. Good opportunity to see how we’re going to face to rest of season with adversity.
